It really depends on what you need it for, if you will be using your cellphone as a work device (sending emails, etc.) I recommend you a BlackBerry. If you want a cellphone to use the internet (browsing the web) I recommend an iPhone.
Note, both can be used for everything you want nowdays, but a BB would be useful to type your texts and so, while most of web designers are making mobile versions of their websites, the main version they make is for iPhone/iPod Touch.
I wouldn't use an iPhone as a cellphone anyway, but I'd love to have one to test my websites with. |

No, I'm using a Nokia E90 Communicator, and I'm very happy with it. Personally I don't like the BB, tried some of them that belong to my friends but I never liked it.
If you tell me which one I'd pick, I'll say an iPhone.

Right now I have to many expenses for either. But I would support SF first post. It depends what you want to do with it. Is this phone meant to be a substituion for a laptop, or is it meant to have fun with? Are you interested in the downloadable content applications for the i phone?
Another major factor would have to be the touch screen. Have you ever used a touch screen? Some people love it, other people can't stand it. |

I like HTC, they're pretty much like iPhone in my opinion. But I'd prefer a Nokia above all of them because you can get almost any application you want and install it. Most of iPhone applications are shareware.
But as I said before, it depends on what you do want, etc.

I like E series, most of them got a good keyboard that you can use same with BB. And I guess Nokia is cheaper than BB, so
This is still a suggestion tho. |

Iphone gets my vote although the new multitasking in OS4 seems to have been written by a herd of crackheads. It's a pain to double tap the home button then click and hold one of the multitasking apps icons then hit the delete icon that appears each and every time. I hope they fix that.
Now you can legally jailbreak your iphone and do it just by visiting a web site makes that side of things idiot proof for those interested. jailbreakme.com - Just make sure you disable popups in settings for safari first and turn it back on after.
Apple brag about the number of apps and while most of them are garbage (at least imho), there are enough good and free ones out there to keep most people happy I think. |
